Kona Aggressor II

The Big Island‘s volcanic underwater topography is a diver’s wonderland. Lava tubes, bommies, arches and huge craters like “Au Au Crater,” create a spectacular backdrop for Hawaii’s many indigenous species of Butterfly fish. Photographers will delight in the many subjects like Spanish Dancers, turtles, mantas and frogfish.

Kona is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Kona Aggressor II operates out of downtown Kailua-Kona. The Kona Aggressor II offers a week of hassle-free diving along the western coast of the island at favorite sites like Paradise Pinnacle, Tubestria Tunnel, The Hive, Turtle Pinnacle and Rob’s Reef. The yacht ventures far from the reach of day operators to beautiful South Point, the southernmost tip of Hawaii and the United States, weather permitting. With lava flows in the background, divers suit up for a week of spectacular diving. Excellent snorkeling is available for non-diving passengers.

Diving begins Sunday morning and ends Friday afternoon when the Aggressor returns to port. Sunday through Thursday there is unlimited scuba diving throughout the day and a night dive each evening. Friday a half-day of diving is offered.

During the charter you will have the opportunity to view many of the the videos of “WineWorks”, created under the direction of Wayne Brown. Divers Alert Network’s (DAN) mission is to help divers in need of medical emergency assistance and to promote dive safety through research, education, products and services. Join DAN President Dan Orr and Betty Orr, Vice President & Director of Insurance for DAN Services aboard the beautiful Turks & Caicos Aggressor II, April 13 – 20, 2013.

Aggressor Fleet will donate 5% of the charter funds to Diver’s Alert Network (DAN).

The DAN Medical Information department staffs a 24-hour emergency hotline and specializes in evacuation coordination, dive medicine information and medical referrals. DAN Research provides the diving community with medical information that enables informed decisions about health, safety and diving. DAN Education develops and offers courses that specialize in prehospital emergency care.

Spend more time diving Galapagos. These exciting itineraries depart from San Cristobal venturing north for thrilling sharke dives at remote Wolf and Darwin islands. Galapagos is known for Hammerhead Sharks, Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, White Tipped Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Eagle and Golden Rays and Green Turtles.

The last full day of the charter, the yacht stops at Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. Guests will take a land tour into the Santa Cruz Highlands where guests will visit Scalesia Forest, aTortoise Reserve and visit lava tubes.

We are pleased to announce ‘Singles Only’ cruises. This is not the Love Boat but rather a great opportunity to have a good time and meet other divers who are single travelers. We have a very large clientele of solo travelers who have met other solo travelers and became lifelong dive buddies. While single divers are always welcome aboard any Aggressor or Dancer yacht, this special week is in response to the many requests we have received. Private staterooms are available these weeks. Explore Virgin Velasco Reef in the Palau Islands

The Palau Aggressor II is offering 2-week trips to the north of Palau to the Velasco Reef area in 2013. Capt. Mike Farmer reports “the diving is fantastic, reefs pristine, lots of table and soft corals, sea fans, untouched by anyone. From large schools of Black Snapper, Bumphead Parrotfish, and sharks, it is a spectacular area”. This 5-6 hour cruise up the west side of Palau brings spectacular views. The itinerary includes 5 ½ days of diving the northern itinerary and the second week diving the southern dive sites that Palau is famous for.
